को अद्धा वेद क इह प्र वोचत्कुत आजाता कुत इयं विसृष्टिः । अर्वाग्देवा अस्य विसर्जनेनाथा को वेद यत आबभूव ॥
kó addhā́ veda ká ihá prá vocat kúta ā́jātā kúta iyáṃ vísṛṣṭiḥ | arvā́g devā́ asyá visárjanenā́thā kó veda yáta ābabhū́va ||
ആരെങ്കിലും സത്യമായി അറിയുമോ? ഇവിടെ ആരാണ് പറയുക—അത് എവിടെ നിന്ന് ജനിച്ചു, ഈ വിസൃഷ്ടി (വ്യാപനം/സൃഷ്ടിപ്രവാഹം) എവിടെ നിന്ന് വന്നു? ദേവന്മാർ പോലും ഈ സൃഷ്ടിക്കു ശേഷമുള്ളവരാണ്; അപ്പോൾ അത് ആദ്യം എവിടെ നിന്ന് ഉദിച്ചുവെന്ന് ആര് അറിയും?
