प्रजापते न त्वदेतान्यन्यो विश्वा जातानि परि ता बभूव । यत्कामास्ते जुहुमस्तन्नो अस्तु वयं स्याम पतयो रयीणाम् ॥

Transliteration

prajā́pate ná tvád etā́ny anyó víśvā jātā́ni pári tā́ babhūva | yátkāmās te juhumā́s tán no astu vayáṃ syāma pátayo rayīṇā́m ||

Translation

ഹേ പ്രജാപതേ, നിന്നൊഴികെ മറ്റാരും ഈ സർവ്വജനിതങ്ങളെയൊക്കെയും പരിപൂർണ്ണമായി പരിവേഷ്ടിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഞങ്ങൾ ഏതു കാമനകളോടെ നിനക്കായി അഗ്നിയിൽ ജുഹുമ (ആഹുതി) അർപ്പിക്കുന്നുവോ, അത് ഞങ്ങളുടേതാകട്ടെ; ഞങ്ങൾ റയി (സമൃദ്ധി)കളുടെ അധിപതികളാകട്ടെ.
