इमा ब्रह्म बृहद्दिवो विवक्तीन्द्राय शूषमग्रियः स्वर्षाः । महो गोत्रस्य क्षयति स्वराजो दुरश्च विश्वा अवृणोदप स्वाः ॥

imā́ brahmá bṛháddivo vivaktī́ndrāya śūṣám agriyáḥ svàrṣāḥ | mahó gótrasya kṣayati svàrājo dúraś ca víśvā avṛṇod ápa svā́ḥ ||

വിശാല ദ്യൗവിന്റെ ഈ ബ്രഹ്മ (മന്ത്രങ്ങൾ) വേർതിരിച്ച് ഇന്ദ്രനു ശൂഷ (ഉത്കട തേജസ്) സമർപ്പിക്കുന്നു—സ്വർ-ലോകങ്ങളുടെ അഗ്രവിജയി, സ്വർഷാ യ്ക്ക്. സ്വരാജൻ മഹത്തായ ഗോത്രത്തിന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിൽ വസിക്കുന്നു; അവൻ എല്ലാ വാതിലുകളും തുറന്ന്, തന്റെതായ തടസ്സം നീക്കിക്കളഞ്ഞു.
