प्र पूतास्तिग्मशोचिषे वाचो गोतमाग्नये । भरस्व सुम्नयुर्गिरः ॥
Transliteration
prá pūtā́s tígmaśociṣe vā́co gotamāgnáye | bhárasva sumnayúr gíraḥ ||
Translation
ഗോതമരുടെ അഗ്നിയിലേക്കു—തീക്ഷ്ണജ്വാലയുള്ളവനിലേക്കു—ശുദ്ധീകരിക്കപ്പെട്ട വാക്കുകൾ മുന്നോട്ടു പോകട്ടെ. ഹേ അഗ്നേ, സുമ്ന (ദൈവാനുഗ്രഹം/സൗഹൃദം) ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്ന ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഗിരഃ (സ്തുതിവചനങ്ങൾ) നീ വഹിക്കണമേ.
