स हि क्षपावाँ अग्नी रयीणां दाशद्यो अस्मा अरं सूक्तैः ॥

sá hí kṣapā́vāṃ agnī́ rayīṇā́ṃ dā́śad yó asmai áraṃ su-uktáiḥ ॥

സ ഹി ക്ഷപാവാൻ അഗ്നി റയീണാം—രാത്രികളുടെ അധിപനായ അഗ്നി, നന്നായി ഘടിപ്പിച്ച സൂക്തങ്ങളാൽ യഥാവിധി അർപ്പിക്കുന്നവന് റയി-സമൃദ്ധികൾ (ധന-ഐശ്വര്യം) ദാനം ചെയ്യുന്നു.
