तव त्ये पितो ददतस्तव स्वादिष्ठ ते पितो । प्र स्वाद्मानो रसानां तुविग्रीवा इवेरते ॥
Transliteration
tavá tyé pito dádataḥ tavá svādiṣṭha té pito | prá svā́dmāno rásānāṁ tuvigrīvā́ iverate ||
Translation
ഹേ പീത (പാനം), ആ ദാതാക്കൾ നിന്റേതു തന്നെ; ഹേ അതിമധുരമായ പീത, നിന്റേതു തന്നെ. രസങ്ങളുടെ മാധുര്യങ്ങൾ മുന്നോട്ട് കുതിച്ചുയരുന്നു—ബലമുള്ള കഴുത്തുള്ളവരെപ്പോലെ—പ്രബല വേഗത്തിൽ അമർത്തിക്കൊണ്ട്.
