इयं वेदिः परो अन्तः पृथिव्या अयं यज्ञो भुवनस्य नाभिः । अयं सोमो वृष्णो अश्वस्य रेतो ब्रह्मायं वाचः परमं व्योम ॥
Transliteration
iyáṁ vediḥ páro ántaḥ pṛthivyā́ ayáṁ yajñó bhúvanasya nā́bhiḥ | ayáṁ sómo vṛ́ṣṇo aśvásya réto bráhmāyáṁ vā́caḥ paramáṁ vyòma ||
Translation
ഈ വേദി ഭൂമിയുടെ പരമ അറ്റമാണ്; ഈ യജ്ഞം ലോകത്തിന്റെ നാഭിയാണ്. ഈ സോമം ബലവാനായ അശ്വത്തിന്റെ (വൃഷണ) രേതസ്—ബീജമാണ്; ഈ ബ്രഹ്മം വാണിയുടെ പരമ വ്യോമം—സർവ്വോന്നത ആകാശമാണ്.
