अपश्यं गोपामनिपद्यमानमा च परा च पथिभिश्चरन्तम् । स सध्रीचीः स विषूचीर्वसान आ वरीवर्ति भुवनेष्वन्तः ॥
ápaśyaṁ gopā́m anípadyamānam ā́ ca párā ca pathíbhiś cárantam | sá sadhṛ́cīḥ sá viṣū́cīr vásāna ā́ varīvarti bhúvaneṣv antár ||
ഞാൻ ഗോപനെ കണ്ടു—അവൻ ഒരിക്കലും ഇടറുന്നില്ല—പാതകളിലൂടെ മുന്നോട്ടും പിന്നോട്ടും സഞ്ചരിക്കുന്നവനായി. നേരായതും വ്യത്യസ്തവുമായ വഴികളെ അവൻ ഒരുമിച്ച് ധരിക്കുന്നു; ലോകങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളിൽ അവൻ തിരിഞ്ഞും മടങ്ങിയും വരുന്നു, ആത്മയാത്രയ്ക്ക് ഇടം ഒരുക്കി.
