एतच्चन त्वो वि चिकेतदेषां सत्यो मन्त्रः कविशस्त ऋघावान् । त्रिरश्रिं हन्ति चतुरश्रिरुग्रो देवनिदो ह प्रथमा अजूर्यन् ॥

Transliteration

etác caná tvó ví ciketad eṣā́ṃ satyó mántraḥ kaviśastá ṛ́ghāvān | trír-aśriṃ hánti catúr-aśrir ugró devánido há prathamā́ ajūryan ||

Translation

ഇതുതന്നെ—നീ ഇതിനെ വ്യക്തമായി തിരിച്ചറിയുക: ഇവരിൽ സത്യ മന്ത്രം, കവി (ദർശി) സ്തുതിച്ചതും ഋഘാവാൻ (നേരെ നീങ്ങുന്ന ശക്തി) പ്രേരിപ്പിച്ചതുമായത്, ഉഗ്രമായ ചതുരശ്രിയായി മാറി ത്രിരശ്രിയെ വധിക്കുന്നു; ദേവനിദഃ (ദേവനിന്ദകർ) ആദ്യത്തേതന്നെ തകർന്നു, അജൂര്യമായി നിലനിൽക്കുകയില്ല.
