युवं च्यवानमश्विना जरन्तं पुनर्युवानं चक्रथुः शचीभिः । युवो रथं दुहिता सूर्यस्य सह श्रिया नासत्यावृणीत ॥
yuváṃ cyavā́nam aśvinā jarántaṃ púnar yúvānaṃ cakrathúḥ śácībhiḥ | yuvó ráthaṃ duhitā́ sū́ryasya sahá śríyā nāsatyāvṛṇīta ||
ഹേ അശ്വിന്മാരേ, നിങ്ങളുടെ ശചികൾ (പ്രഭാവശക്തികൾ) കൊണ്ടു നിങ്ങൾ ജരിതനായ ച്യവാനനെ വീണ്ടും യൗവനവാനാക്കി. പിന്നെ സൂര്യന്റെ ദുഹിതാവ്, ശ്രിയ (ശോഭാ-സമൃദ്ധി) സഹിതം, നിങ്ങളുടെ രഥത്തെ തിരഞ്ഞെടുത്തു—ഹേ നാസത്യന്മാരേ—സംയോഗയാത്രയ്ക്കായി.
