ततोनिष्पततोयुद्धेदशग्रीवस्यरक्षसः ।रणेनिधनशंसीनिरूपाण्येतानिजज्ञिरे ।।6.96.36।।
tato niṣpatato yuddhe daśagrīvasya rakṣasaḥ |
raṇe nidhana-śaṃsīni rūpāṇy etāni jajñire ||6.96.36||
പിന്നീട് യുദ്ധത്തിലേക്ക് ദശഗ്രീവനായ രാക്ഷസൻ പാഞ്ഞിറങ്ങുമ്പോൾ, रणത്തിൽ മരണത്തെ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്ന ഇത്തരത്തിലുള്ള അപശകുനരൂപങ്ങൾ തന്നെ പ്രകടമായി.
