युद्धाय रावणस्य निर्याणं तथा उत्पातदर्शनम्

Ravana’s Mobilization for War and the ظهور of Fatal Portents

ततोयुद्धायतेजस्वीरक्षोगणबलैर्वृतः ।निर्ययावुद्यतधनुःकालान्तकयमोपमः ।।6.96.31।।

tato yuddhāya tejasvī rakṣo-gaṇa-balair vṛtaḥ |

niryayāv udyata-dhanuḥ kālāntaka-yamopamaḥ ||6.96.31||

അപ്പോൾ തേജസ്സുള്ള രാവണൻ, രാക്ഷസഗണങ്ങളുടെ ബലവലയത്തിൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ടവനായി, ഉയർത്തിയ ധനുസ്സോടെ യുദ്ധത്തിനായി പുറപ്പെട്ടു—കാലാന്തക യമനെപ്പോലെ ॥6.96.31॥
