स तद्दुरात्मासुहृदानिवेदितंवचःसुधर्म्यंप्रतिगृह्यरावणः ।गृहंजगामथततश्चवीर्यवान् पुनःसभां च प्रययौसुहृद्वृतः ।।।।

sa taddurātmā suhṛdā niveditaṃ vacaḥ sudharmyaṃ pratigṛhya rāvaṇaḥ |

gṛhaṃ jagāma atha tataś ca vīryavān punaḥ sabhāṃ ca prayayau suhṛdvṛtaḥ || 6.93.68 ||

അപ്പോൾ ദുർമതിയായ രാവണൻ സുഹൃത്ത് അറിയിച്ച സുദർമ്മ്യമായ വചനങ്ങൾ സ്വീകരിച്ചു; പിന്നെ അവൻ തന്റെ ഗൃഹത്തിലേക്ക് പോയി, തുടർന്ന് സുഹൃത്തുക്കളാൽ വൃതനായി വീര്യവാനായി വീണ്ടും സഭാമണ്ഡപത്തിലേക്ക് ചെന്നു.
