तेषांसञ्जल्पमानामशोकवनिकांगताम् ।।।।अभिदुद्राववैदेहींरावणःक्रोधमूर्छितः ।
teṣāṃ sañjalpamānānām aśokavanikāṃ gatām |
abhidudrāva vaidehīṃ rāvaṇaḥ krodhamūrcchitaḥ ||
അവർ ഇങ്ങനെ സംസാരിച്ചുകൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോൾ, ക്രോധം മൂർഛിച്ച രാവണൻ അശോകവനികയിൽ ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന വൈദേഹിയിലേക്കു പാഞ്ഞെത്തി.
