Sarga 93: Rāvaṇa’s Grief and Fury after Indrajit’s Fall; Move to Slay Vaidehī and Ministerial Restraint
तस्यैवतपसोव्युष्ट्याप्रसादाच्छस्वयम्भुवः ।।।।नासुरेभ्यो न देवेभ्योभयंममकदाचन ।
tasyaiva tapaso vyuṣṭyā prasādāc ca svayambhuvaḥ |
nāsurebhyo na devebhyo bhayaṁ mama kadācana ||
അതു തന്നെയുള്ള തപസ്സിന്റെ ഫലപ്രാപ്തിയാലും സ്വയംഭൂവിന്റെ പ്രസാദത്താലും എനിക്ക് ഒരിക്കലും ഭയം ഉണ്ടായിട്ടില്ല—അസുരന്മാരിൽ നിന്നുമല്ല, ദേവന്മാരിൽ നിന്നുമല്ല.
'By the power of the penancedone by me once, creator Brahma has given me reward, pleased with my penance. I have no fear of Asuras or Devas'.
