कालानगिरिवसङ्क्रुद्धोयांयांदिशमवैक्षत ।।।।तस्यांतस्यांभयत्रस्ताराक्षसास्सन्विलियलिरे ।

Transliteration

kālānala iva saṅkruddho yāṃ yāṃ diśam avaikṣata |

tasyāṃ tasyāṃ bhaya-trastā rākṣasāḥ saṃviliyire ||

Translation

പ്രളയാഗ്നിയെപ്പോലെ ക്രുദ്ധനായിട്ട്, അവൻ ഏത് ഏത് ദിക്കിലേക്കു ദൃഷ്ടി വീശിയാലും, ആ ആ ദിക്കിൽ രാക്ഷസർ ഭയവിഹ്വലരായി ചുരുങ്ങി ഒളിച്ചുപോയി.
