Indrajit and Lakshmana: War-Boasts, Rebuke, and the Clash
युयुधातेमहात्मानौतदाकेसरिणाविव ।।।।बहूनवसृजन्तौहिमार्गणौघानवस्थितौ ।नरराक्षससिम्होतौप्रहृष्टावभ्ययुध्यताम् ।।।।
yuyudhāte mahātmānau tadā kesariṇāv iva |
bahūn avasṛjantau hi mārgaṇaughān avasthitau |
nararākṣasasiṃhau tau prahṛṣṭāv abhyayudhyatām ||
പിന്നീട് ആ മഹാത്മാക്കളായ രണ്ടു യോദ്ധാക്കൾ കേശരിസിംഹങ്ങളുടെ ജോഡിയെപ്പോലെ യുദ്ധിച്ചു; ഉറച്ചുനിന്ന് അമ്പുകളുടെ പ്രളയംപോലെ ഒഴുക്കുകൾ വിട്ടുകൊണ്ടിരുന്നു। മനുഷ്യരിലും രാക്ഷസരിലും സിംഹസമന്മാരായ അവർ ഉല്ലാസത്തോടെ പരസ്പരം ഏറ്റുമുട്ടി പോരാടി।
