इन्द्रजित्-हनूमद्-युद्धं तथा निकुम्भिलायां होमः

अथेन्द्रजिद्राक्षभूतयेतुजुहावहव्यंविधिनाविधानवित् ।दृष्टवाव्यतिष्ठन्त च राक्षसास्तेमहासमूहेषुसमानयज्ञाः ।।।।

athendrajid rākṣasabhūtaye tu juhāva havyaṃ vidhinā vidhānavit | dṛṣṭvā vyatiṣṭhanta ca rākṣasās te mahāsamūheṣu samānayajñāḥ ||

അപ്പോൾ വിധിവിധാനങ്ങളിൽ നിപുണനായ ഇന്ദ്രജിത് ശാസ്ത്രോക്ത നിയമപ്രകാരം അഗ്നിയിൽ ഹവ്യം അർപ്പിച്ചു; മഹാസമൂഹമായി കൂടിയ, യജ്ഞക്രമത്തിൽ ഒരേപോലെ നിലകൊണ്ട രാക്ഷസർ അത് നോക്കി നിന്നു.
