इन्द्रजित्-हनूमद्-युद्धं तथा निकुम्भिलायां होमः

सोऽर्चिःपिनद्धोददृशेहोमशोणिततर्पितः ।सन्ध्यागतइवादित्यःसुतीव्रोऽग्नि: समुत्थितः ।।।।

Transliteration

so 'rciḥ pinaddho dadṛśe homaśoṇitatarpitaḥ | sandhyāgata ivādityaḥ sutīvro 'gniḥ samutthitaḥ ||

Translation

ഹോമത്തിൽ അർപ്പിച്ച രക്തംകൊണ്ട് തൃപ്തനായ അഗ്നിയുടെ ജ്വാല കട്ടിയായി വീർപ്പോടെ ദൃശ്യമായി; അത്യന്തം തീവ്രപ്രകാശത്തോടെ ഉയർന്ന ആ അഗ്നി സന്ധ്യാകാലത്തെ സൂര്യനെപ്പോലെ തോന്നി.
