इन्द्रजित्-हनूमद्-युद्धं तथा निकुम्भिलायां होमः

सःशरौघानवसृजन्स्वसैन्येनाभिसम्वृतः ।।।।जघानकपिशार्दूलान्सुबहून्दृष्टविक्रमः ।
saḥ śaraughān avasṛjan sva-sainyenābhisaṃvṛtaḥ | jaghāna kapiśārdūlān subahūn dṛṣṭavikramaḥ ||
സ്വസൈന്യം ചുറ്റിനിന്നിരിക്കെ, പരാക്രമം തെളിഞ്ഞ ആ യോദ്ധാവ് അമ്പുകളുടെ മഴ പെയ്ത്തു; വാനരസൈന്യത്തിലെ വ്യാഘ്രസമാന വീരകപികളെ അനേകരെ വീഴ്ത്തി.
