एवंचेदुपसर्पेतामनयंरामलक्ष्मणौ ।अवश्यमपनीतेनजहतामेवजीवितम् ।।6.8.18।।
evaṃ ced upasarpetām anayaṃ rāmalakṣmaṇau |
avaśyam apanītena jahatām eva jīvitam ||6.8.18||
ഇങ്ങനെ രാമലക്ഷ്മണരെ ദുരിതത്തിലാക്കാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ, തീർച്ചയായും വഞ്ചനയാൽ അവർ സ്വന്തം ജീവൻ പോലും ഉപേക്ഷിക്കേണ്ടിവരും.
