युद्धकाण्डे अष्टमः सर्गः — राक्षससभा-युद्धपरामर्शः
War-Council Boasts and Stratagems
अद्यरामंससुग्रीवंपरिघेणसलक्ष्मणम् ।आगमिष्यामिहत्वैकोविक्षोभ्यहरिवाहिनीम् ।।6.8.11।।
adya rāmaṃ sa sugrīvaṃ parigheṇa sa lakṣmaṇam | āgamiṣyāmi hatvaiko vikṣobhya harivāhinīm ||
‘ഇന്ന് ഞാൻ ഒറ്റയ്ക്കു ചെന്നു, പരിഘം എന്ന ഇരുമ്പുദണ്ഡംകൊണ്ട് ശ്രീരാമനെയും സുഗ്രീവനെയും ലക്ഷ്മണനെയും വധിച്ച്, വാനരസേനയെ കലക്കിമറിച്ച് തിരികെ വരും.’
