औषधिपर्वताहरणम् / The Retrieval of the Herb

Bearing Mountain

स तामहात्माहनुमानपश्यंश्चुकोपकोपाच्चभृशंननाद ।अमृष्यमाणोऽनगिनिकाशचक्षुर्महीधरेन्द्रंतमुवाचवाक्यम् ।।6.74.65।।

sa tā mahātmā hanumān apaśyaṃś cukopa kopāc ca bhṛśaṃ nanāda | amṛṣyamāṇo 'gninikāśacakṣur mahīdharendraṃ tam uvāca vākyam || 6.74.65 ||

ഔഷധികളെ കാണാതിരുന്ന മഹാത്മാവായ ഹനുമാൻ ക്രോധത്തിൽ ജ്വലിച്ചു ഉച്ചത്തിൽ ഗർജ്ജിച്ചു; അഗ്നിപോലെയുള്ള കണ്ണുകളോടെ സഹിക്കാനാവാതെ, ആ പർവ്വതരാജനോട് കഠിനവചനങ്ങൾ പറഞ്ഞു.

The great soul Hanuman was not able to see, those herbs, became angry and his eyes were burning like fire in anger. He jumped up and roared and said to the lordly mountain.
