औषधिपर्वताहरणम् / The Retrieval of the Herb

Bearing Mountain

तौप्रसार्योरगभोगकल्पौभुजौभुजङ्गारिनिकाशवीर्यः ।जगाममेरुंनगराजमग्य्रंदिशःप्रकर्षन्निववायुसूनुः ।।6.74.51।।

tau prasārya uraga-bhoga-kalpau bhujau bhujaṅgāri-nikāśa-vīryaḥ | jagāma meruṃ nagarājam agryaṃ diśaḥ prakarṣann iva vāyu-sūnuḥ ||

സർപ്പത്തിന്റെ ഭോഗങ്ങളെപ്പോലെ ഇരുകൈകളും നീട്ടി, സർപ്പശത്രുവായ ഗരുഡനെപ്പോലെ ശക്തിയുള്ള വായുപുത്രൻ, ദിക്കുകളെയെല്ലാം വലിച്ചുകൊണ്ടുപോകുന്നതുപോലെ, പർവതരാജനായ ഉന്നത മേരുവിലേക്കു വേഗത്തിൽ ചെന്നു.
