इन्द्रजितः ब्रह्मास्त्र-यागः तथा वानरसेनाविध्वंसः

इमांप्रतिज्ञांशृणुशक्रशत्रोःसुनिश्चितांपौरुषदैवयुक्ताम् ।अद्यैवरामंसहलक्ष्मणेनसन्तर्पयिष्यामिशरैरमोघैः ।।।।

imāṃ pratijñāṃ śṛṇu śakraśatroḥ suniścitāṃ pauruṣadaivayuktām |

adyaiva rāmaṃ sahalakṣmaṇena santarpayiṣyāmi śarair amoghaiḥ ||

“ശക്രശത്രുവിന്റെ ഈ പ്രതിജ്ഞ കേൾക്കുക—പുരുഷാർത്ഥവും ദൈവശക്തിയും ചേർന്ന दृഢനിശ്ചയം: ഇന്നുതന്നെ അമോഘശരങ്ങളാൽ ലക്ഷ്മണസഹിത ശ്രീരാമനെ ഞാൻ പൂർണ്ണമായി മൂടി തൃപ്തിപ്പെടുത്തും.”
