इन्द्रजितः ब्रह्मास्त्र-यागः तथा वानरसेनाविध्वंसः
Indrajit’s Brahmastra Rite and the Crushing of the Vanara Host
तंतपन्तमिवादित्यंघोरैर्बाणगभस्तिभिः ।अभ्यधावन्तसङ्कृद्धास्सम्युगेवानरर्षभाः ।।।।
taṃ tapantam ivādityaṃ ghorair bāṇa-gabhastibhiḥ |
abhyadhāvanta saṅkruddhāḥ samyuge vānararṣabhāḥ ||
ഭയങ്കരമായ അമ്പുകളെന്ന കിരണങ്ങളാൽ സൂര്യനെപ്പോലെ ജ്വലിച്ചിരുന്ന അവന്റെ നേരെ, യുദ്ധസമരത്തിൽ ക്രുദ്ധരായ വാനരശ്രേഷ്ഠർ പാഞ്ഞെത്തി.
