स त्रिभिर्देवदर्पघ्नेर्नेरृतीन्द्रेरभिद्रुतः ।वृक्षमुत्पाटयामासमहाविटपमङ्गदः ।।।।
sa tribhir devadarpaghner nairṛtīndrair abhidrutaḥ |
vṛkṣam utpāṭayāmāsa mahāviṭapam aṅgadaḥ ||
ദേവന്മാരുടെ ദർപ്പം തകർക്കുന്ന മൂന്ന് നൈഋതി-ഇന്ദ്രന്മാർ അവന്റെ നേരെ പാഞ്ഞുവന്നപ്പോൾ, അങ്കദൻ മഹാശാഖകളുള്ള ഒരു വൻ വൃക്ഷം വേരോടെ പിഴുതെടുത്തു.
