विकीर्णैपर्वताग्रैश्चद्रुमैछशिनैश्चसंयुगे ।।।।हतैश्चकपिरक्षोभिर्दुर्गमावसुधाऽभवत् ।

Transliteration

vikīrṇaiḥ parvatāgraiś ca drumaiś chinnaiś ca saṃyuge | hataiś ca kapi-rakṣobhir durgamā vasudhā 'bhavat ||

Translation

ആ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ ചിതറിക്കിടന്ന പർവ്വതശിഖരങ്ങളും വെട്ടിവീണ വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും, വീണുകിടന്ന വാനരരും രാക്ഷസരുമൂലം ഭൂമി ദുർഗമമായി മാറി.
