हरयोपिमहात्मानोददृशुर्नेरृतम् ।।।।हस्त्यश्वरथसम्बाधंकिङ्किणीशतनादितम् ।नीलजीमूतसङ्काशंसमुद्यतमहायुधम् ।।।।दीप्तानलरविप्रख्यैस्सर्वतोनैरृतैर्वृतम् ।

Transliteration

harayo 'pi mahātmāno dadṛśur nairṛtam | hastyaśvarathasambādhaṃ kiṅkiṇīśatanāditam | nīlajīmūtasaṅkāśaṃ samudyatamahāyudham | dīptānalaraviprakhyaiḥ sarvato nairṛtair vṛtam ||

Translation

മഹാത്മാക്കളായ ഹരിവീരന്മാരും ആ നൈരൃതസൈന്യത്തെ കണ്ടു—ആന, കുതിര, രഥങ്ങൾ കൊണ്ട് കുത്തിനിറഞ്ഞത്, നൂറുകണക്കിന് കിങ്കിണികളുടെ നാദം മുഴങ്ങുന്നത്; നീല മഴമേഘസമാനമായി, മഹായുധങ്ങൾ ഉയർത്തിപ്പിടിച്ച്, എല്ലാടവും അഗ്നിയും സൂര്യനുംപോലെ ദീപ്തമായ രാക്ഷസന്മാർ ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റിയിരുന്നതായി.
