The Slaying of Kumbhakarna
शैलैर्ववृक्षैस्तलैःपादैर्मुष्टिभिश्चमहाबलाः ।।।।कुम्भकर्णंमहाकायंसर्वतोऽभिप्रदुद्रुवुः ।
śailair vavṛkṣais talaiḥ pādair muṣṭibhiś ca mahābalāḥ |
kumbhakarṇaṃ mahākāyaṃ sarvato ’bhipradudruvuḥ ||
മഹാബലമുള്ള വാനരർ പാറകളും വൃക്ഷങ്ങളും ദണ്ഡങ്ങളും എടുത്തും, കരതലവും പാദവും മുഷ്ടിയും കൊണ്ട് പ്രഹരിച്ചും, മഹാകായനായ കുംഭകർണനെ എല്ലാദിക്കിലും നിന്ന് വളഞ്ഞ് പാഞ്ഞുകയറി.
