कुम्भकर्णवधः

The Slaying of Kumbhakarna

तच्चैलवेगाभिहतंहताश्वंहतसारथि ।।।।रक्षसांरुधिरक्लिन्नंबभूवायोधनंमहत् ।

tac caila-vegābhihataṃ hatāśvaṃ hatasārathi | rakṣasāṃ rudhira-klinnaṃ babhūvāyodhanaṃ mahat ||

പർവതത്തിന്റെ പ്രചണ്ഡവേഗപ്രഹരത്തിൽ രഥങ്ങൾ തകർന്നു, കുതിരകൾ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു, സാരഥികൾ സംഹരിക്കപ്പെട്ടു; ആ മഹായുദ്ധഭൂമി രാക്ഷസരുടെ രക്തത്തിൽ നനഞ്ഞു കുതിർന്നു.
