एवमुक्तवतोवाक्यंकुम्भकर्णस्यधीमतः ।प्रत्युवाचततोवाक्यंप्रहसन्राक्षसाधिपः ।।।।

Transliteration

evam uktavato vākyaṃ kumbhakarṇasya dhīmataḥ | pratyuvāca tato vākyaṃ prahasan rākṣasādhipaḥ ||

Translation

ഇങ്ങനെ ധീമാനായ കുംഭകർണ്ണൻ പറഞ്ഞ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ട ശേഷം, രാക്ഷസാധിപൻ ചിരിച്ചുകൊണ്ട് ഹാസ്യസ്മിതത്തോടെ തന്റെ മറുപടി പറഞ്ഞു.
