Kumbhakarna’s Departure for Battle

महोदरोऽयंरामात्तुपरित्रस्तो न संशयः ।न हिरोचयतेतात युद्धंयुद्धविशारद ।।।।

mahodaro 'yaṃ rāmāt tu paritrasto na saṃśayaḥ | na hi rocayate tāta yuddhaṃ yuddhaviśārada ||

ഈ മഹോദരൻ രാമനെ ഭയന്നിരിക്കുന്നു—ഇതിൽ സംശയമില്ല. പ്രിയ താതാ, യുദ്ധത്തിൽ നിപുണനായിട്ടും അവന് യുദ്ധം രുചിക്കുന്നില്ല.
