युद्धकाण्डे एकोनषष्टितमः सर्गः
Rāvaṇa’s Assault on Nīla and Lakṣmaṇa; Hanumān Bears Rāma
अस्यैश्चनेत्रैश्श्रवणैःपपातरुधिरंबहु ।विघूर्णमानोनिश्चेष्टोरथोपस्थउपाविशत् ।।6.59.116।।
āsyaiś ca netraiḥ śravaṇaiḥ papāta rudhiraṃ bahu |
vighūrṇamāno niśceṣṭo rathopasthe upāviśat ||6.59.116||
അവന്റെ വായിൽ നിന്നും കണ്ണുകളിൽ നിന്നും ചെവികളിൽ നിന്നും ധാരാളം രക്തം ഒഴുകി; ചുറ്റിത്തിരിഞ്ഞ് പിന്നെ നിശ്ചേഷ്ടനായി, അവൻ രഥാസനത്തിൽ കൂപ്പുകുത്തി ഇരുന്നു.
Much blood flowed from his(Ravana's) mouth, ears, and eyes. Rolling in the hind part of the chariot he became still and sank.
