अकम्पनवधः — The Slaying of Akampana

एतान्निहन्तुमिच्छामिसमरश्लाघिनोह्यहम् ।एतैःप्रमथितंसर्वंदृश्यतेराक्षसांबलम् ।।6.56.5।।

etān nihantum icchāmi samara-ślāghino hy aham |

etaiḥ pramathitaṃ sarvaṃ dṛśyate rākṣasāṃ balam ||6.56.5||

“ഞാൻ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ അഭിമാനം കൊള്ളുന്നവൻ; അതിനാൽ ഈ വാനരരെ സംഹരിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിക്കുന്നു. ഇവരാൽ മുഴുവൻ രാക്ഷസസൈന്യവും തകർന്നതായി കാണപ്പെടുന്നു.”
