सोऽश्वकर्णंसमासाद्यरोषदर्पान्वितोहरिः ।तूर्णमुत्पाटयामासमहागिरिमिवोच्छ्रितम् ।।6.56.20।।
so 'śvakarṇaṃ samāsādya roṣadarpānvito hariḥ |
tūrṇam utpāṭayāmāsa mahāgirim ivocchritam ||6.56.20||
അപ്പോൾ ക്രോധവും ദർപ്പവും നിറഞ്ഞ വാനരവീരൻ അശ്വകർണ്ണവൃക്ഷത്തെ സമീപിച്ച്, മഹാപർവ്വതംപോലെ ഉയർന്നിരുന്ന അതിനെ ക്ഷണത്തിൽ വേരോടെ പിഴുതെടുത്തു.
