अकम्पन-प्रेषणम् तथा कपि-राक्षस-रणवर्णनम्

रथमास्थायविपुलंतप्तकाञ्चनभूषणम् ।मेघाभोमेघवर्णश्चमेघस्वनमहास्वनः ।।।।राक्षसैःसम्वृतोघोरैस्तदानिर्यात्यकम्पनः ।

ratham āsthāya vipulaṃ tapta-kāñcana-bhūṣaṇam | meghābho megha-varṇaś ca megha-svana-mahā-svanaḥ || rākṣasaiḥ saṃvṛto ghorais tadā niryāty akampanaḥ ||

പിന്നീട് അകമ്പനൻ തിളങ്ങുന്ന സ്വർണാഭരണങ്ങളാൽ അലങ്കരിച്ച വിശാല രഥത്തിൽ കയറി പുറപ്പെട്ടു; മേഘസദൃശമായ രൂപവും വർണ്ണവും ഉള്ളവൻ, ഇടിമുഴക്കുപോലെ മഹാധ്വനിയായ ശബ്ദമുള്ളവൻ, ഭയാനക രാക്ഷസർ ചുറ്റിപ്പറ്റിയവനായിരുന്നു.
