पुष्पकविमानेन सीताया युद्धभूमिदर्शनम्

Sita Shown the Battlefield in the Pushpaka

यदाश्रयादवष्टब्धामामुपतिष्ठति ।सोऽस्याभर्तासहभ्रात्रानिहतोरणमूर्धनि ।।।।

yadāśrayād avaṣṭabdhā mām upatiṣṭhati |

so 'syā bhartā saha bhrātrā nihato raṇamūrdhani ||

“ആരെയാശ്രയിച്ചാണ് അവൾ അഹങ്കാരത്തോടെ ഉറച്ചു നിന്നതും എന്നെ സ്വീകരിക്കാതിരുന്നതും—അവളുടെ ആ ഭർത്താവ് സഹോദരനോടുകൂടെ യുദ്ധഭൂമിയുടെ നടുവിൽ വധിക്കപ്പെട്ടിരിക്കുന്നു.”
