Dvandva-Yuddha: The Onset of Single Combats

तपनेनगजस्सार्धंराक्षसेनमहाबलः ।निकुम्भेनमहातेजानीलोऽपिसमयुध्यत ।।6.43.9।।

tapanena gajaḥ sārdhaṃ rākṣasena mahābalaḥ |

nikumbhena mahātejā nīlo 'pi samayudhyata ||6.43.9||

മഹാബലവാനായ ഗജൻ രാക്ഷസനായ തപനനോടു യുദ്ധം ചെയ്തു; മഹാതേജസ്സുള്ള നീലനും നികുംഭനോടു സമരത്തിൽ പൊരുതി.
