एतच्छ्रुत्वाततोवाक्यंरावणस्यमुखोद्गतम् ।सहसाभीमनिर्घोषमुद्घुष्टंरजनीचरैः ।।।।

Transliteration

etac chrutvā tato vākyaṃ rāvaṇasya mukhodgatam | sahasā bhīmanirghoṣam udghuṣṭaṃ rajanīcaraiḥ ||

Translation

രാവണന്റെ വായിൽ നിന്നുയർന്ന ആ വാക്കുകൾ കേട്ടയുടൻ തന്നെ, രാത്രിചരന്മാരായ രാക്ഷസർ പെട്ടെന്ന് ഭയങ്കരമായ ഘോഷം ഉയർത്തി.
