युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः

War Omens and the Encirclement of Lanka’s Gates

ग्राहयामासतारेयस्स्वयमात्मनमात्मवान् ।बलंदर्शयितुंवीरोयातुधानगणेतदा ।।6.41.86।।

grāhayāmāsa tāreyaḥ svayam ātmānam ātmavān |

balaṃ darśayituṃ vīro yātudhānagaṇe tadā ||6.41.86||

അപ്പോൾ താരാപുത്രനായ ആ വീരൻ, ആത്മസംയമനത്തോടെ, രാക്ഷസഗണത്തിന്റെ നടുവിൽ തന്റെ ബലം കാണിക്കുവാൻ ആഗ്രഹിച്ചു, സ്വയം പിടിക്കപ്പെടാൻ അനുവദിച്ചു.
