युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः
War Omens and the Encirclement of Lanka’s Gates
प्रतिपूर्णमिवाकाशंसञ्छन्नेवचमेदिनी ।।6.41.50।।लङ्कापुमनिविष्टैश्चसम्पतद्भिश्चवानरैः ।
pratipūrṇam ivākāśaṃ sañchannā iva ca medinī | laṅkām upaniviṣṭaiś ca sampatadbhiś ca vānaraiḥ ||6.41.50||
ലങ്കയ്ക്കരികെ ഇതിനകം നിലയുറപ്പിച്ചവരും ഇനിയും പാഞ്ഞെത്തുന്നവരുമായ വാനരന്മാർകൊണ്ട് ആകാശം നിറഞ്ഞതുപോലെയും ഭൂമി മുഴുവനും മൂടപ്പെട്ടതുപോലെയും തോന്നി.
"O broad shouldered hero, tamer of foes! Do not do this kind of action. Even if you were harmed a bit, O destroyer of foes, of what use is it to me or even to Sita, Bharata, Satrughna or to Lakshmana or even to my body?"
