युद्धलक्षण-निमित्तदर्शनं तथा लङ्काद्वारव्यूहः

ततःकालेमहाबाहुर्बलेनमहतावृतः ।प्रस्थितःपुरतोधवनीलङ्कामभिमुखःपुरीम् ।।6.41.26।।
tataḥ kāle mahā-bāhur balena mahatāvṛtaḥ | prasthitaḥ purato dhavanī laṅkām abhimukhaḥ purīm ||
പിന്നീട് നിശ്ചിത സമയത്ത്, മഹാബാഹുവായ രാമൻ മഹാസൈന്യത്താൽ ചുറ്റപ്പെട്ടവനായി, മുന്നിൽ നിന്നുകൊണ്ട് ലങ്കാപുരിയിലേക്കു മുഖം തിരിച്ച് പുറപ്പെട്ടു.
