सुवेलारोहणं रावण-सुग्रीव-नियुद्धम्
Ascent of Suvela and the Ravana–Sugriva Duel
बाहूत्तमैर्वारणवारणाभैर्निवारयन्तौवरवारणाभौ ।चिरेणकालेनतुसम्प्रयुक्तौसञ्चेरतुर्मण्डलमार्गमाशु ।।।।
bāhūttamair vāraṇavāraṇābhair nivārayantau varavāraṇābhau |
cireṇa kālena tu samprayuktau sañceratur maṇḍalamārgam āśu ||
ഉത്തമമായ ഭുജബലത്തോടെ, പരസ്പരം എതിരാളി ആനകളെപ്പോലെ ആ രണ്ടുപേരും തമ്മിൽ തമ്മിൽ തടഞ്ഞുനിർത്തി. ദീർഘകാലം ചേർന്നു പൊരുതി, അവർ വേഗത്തിൽ വൃത്താകാര പഥത്തിൽ ചുറ്റിനടന്നു.
Both Ravana and Sugriva endowed with mighty arms, were resisting each other, and keeping away one another engaging in comb at for a long time. They kept on moving, going around each other swiftly.
