नरवानरराजौतौसतुवायुसुतःकपिः ।जाम्बवानृक्षराजश्चराक्षसश्चविभीषणः ।।।।अङ्गदोवालिपुत्रश्चसौमित्रिश्शरभःकपिः ।सुषेणस्सहदायादोमैन्दोद्विविदएवच ।।।।गजोगवाक्षःकुमुदोनलोऽथपनसस्तथा ।अमित्रविषयंप्राप्तास्समवेतास्समर्धयन् ।।।।

naravānararājau tau sa tu vāyusutaḥ kapiḥ | jāmbavān ṛkṣarājaś ca rākṣasaś ca vibhīṣaṇaḥ ||

aṅgado vāliputraś ca saumitriś śarabhaḥ kapiḥ | suṣeṇaḥ sahadāyādo maindo dvivida eva ca ||

gajo gavākṣaḥ kumudo nalo ’tha panasas tathā | amitraviṣayaṃ prāptāḥ samavetāḥ samardhayan ||

മനുഷ്യ-വാനരരാജാവായ സുഗ്രീവനും, വായുപുത്രനായ ഹനുമാനും, ഋക്ഷരാജൻ ജാംബവാനും, രാക്ഷസനായ വിഭീഷണനും; വാലിപുത്രൻ അങ്കദനും, സൗമിത്രി (ലക്ഷ്മണൻ), വാനരൻ ശരഭനും; ബന്ധുക്കളോടുകൂടി സുഷേണനും, മൈന്ദനും ദ്വിവിദനും; ഗജൻ, ഗവാക്ഷൻ, കുമുദൻ, നലൻ, പനസൻ—ശത്രുവിന്റെ ദുർഗ്ഗപ്രദേശത്തെത്തി, എല്ലാവരും ഒന്നിച്ചു കൂടിയും ആലോചന നടത്തി.
