नचदर्शयतेरूपंमन्दोरामस्यसागरः ।प्रयतेनापिरामेणयथार्हमभिपूजितः ।।6.21.12।।

na ca darśayate rūpaṃ mando rāmasya sāgaraḥ | prayatenāpi rāmeṇa yathārham abhipūjitaḥ ||6.21.12||

Translation

സംയമിയായ രാമൻ യഥോചിതമായി സമുദ്രത്തെ പൂജിച്ചിട്ടും, മന്ദസ്വഭാവമുള്ള സമുദ്രം അവനോട് തന്റെ രൂപം വെളിപ്പെടുത്തിയില്ല.
