अत्रदत्तवरश्शेतेप्रमाथीराक्षसेश्वरः ।तवहेतोर्विशालाक्षीनिहतोरावणोमया ।।।।
atra dattavaraḥ śete pramāthī rākṣaseśvaraḥ | tava hetor viśālākṣi nihato rāvaṇo mayā ||
ഇവിടെ ദത്തവരങ്ങളാൽ അനുഗ്രഹിതനായ, പീഡാകാരിയായ രാക്ഷസേശ്വരൻ രാവണൻ ശയിക്കുന്നു; ഹേ വിശാലാക്ഷി, നിന്റെ ഹിതാർത്ഥം ഞാൻ അവനെ വധിച്ചു.
"There is a sacred river Ganga where several kinds of birds frequent and are filled with trees full of blossoms."
Dharma demands punishment of wrongdoing even when the wrongdoer is powerful or protected by boons; justice restores moral order and protects the innocent.
