इन्द्रवरदानम् / Indra Grants Boons: Restoration of the Vanara Host
महानयंवरस्तातयस्त्वयोक्तोरघूत्तम ।वदिर्मयानोक्तपूर्वं च तस्मादेतद्भविष्यति ।।।।
mahān ayaṃ varas tāta yas tvayokto raghūttama | vadir mayā noktapūrvaṃ ca tasmād etad bhaviṣyati ||
വത്സാ, രഘൂത്തമാ! നീ അഭ്യർത്ഥിച്ച ഈ വരം മഹത്തായതാണ്. ഞാൻ ഇതിനെ മുമ്പൊരിക്കലും നിഷേധിച്ചിട്ടില്ല; അതിനാൽ ഇത് നിർഭാഗ്യവശാൽ അല്ല, നിശ്ചയമായും സഫലമാകും.
"Dear Rama! that which has been sought by you is great. Nothing has been revised by me in the past. Therefore, everything asked by you will be granted by this boon."
Satya (truthfulness) and reliability: a divine king upholds his word and ensures a righteous request is fulfilled.
Indra confirms that Rāma’s requested boon will be granted.
