रावणस्य अन्त्येष्टिः
Ravana’s Funeral Rites and the Ethics of Post-War Conduct
यदातेतनयश्शस्तोलक्ष्मणेनेन्द्रजिद्युधि ।।।।तदात्वभिहतातीव्रमद्यत्वस्मिनिपातिता ।
yadā te tanayaḥ śasto lakṣmaṇenendrajid yudhi | tadā tv abhihatā tīvram adya tv asmin nipātitā ||
യുദ്ധത്തില് ലക്ഷ്മണന് ശസ്ത്രപ്രഹാരത്തോടെ നിന്റെ പുത്രന് ഇന്ദ്രജിത്തിനെ വീഴ്ത്തിയപ്പോള്, അന്നു ഞാന് ശോകത്തില് അത്യന്തം വേദനിച്ചു; ഇന്നോ നീയും ഇവിടെ പതിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.
