Lament of the Rākṣasa Women upon Seeing Rāvaṇa Slain
वानराणांविनाशोऽयंराक्षसानां च तेरणे ।तवचैवमहाबाहो दैवयोगादुपागतः ।।।।
vānarāṇāṃ vināśo 'yaṃ rākṣasānāṃ ca te raṇe | tava caiva mahābāho daivayogād upāgataḥ ||
ഹേ മഹാബാഹു, ഈ യുദ്ധത്തിൽ വാനരന്മാരുടെയും രാക്ഷസന്മാരുടെയും നിന്റെയും നാശം ദൈവയോഗത്താൽ—വിധിയുടെ സംഗമത്താൽ—വന്നെത്തിയതാണ്.
